In the family of Flaming Pear's plugins, here is LunarCell allowing to create any sorts of moons and planets. It works in an identical way to SolarCell of the same editor.

| 1 | Create a new image 200x200 pixels by example, in 16 million colours and choose your background colour (black in that case). |
| 2 | Go to the menu Image > Filter Plug-in > Flaming Pear > LunarCell... |
| 3 | Here is the dialog box which is going to allow you to create your moon

| 4 | Here it is. It remains just to you to play with the various parameters to recreate new planets. |
| 5 | Download a trial version. |
